Children's Liver Disease Foundation
At least two children are diagnosed with a liver disease every day in the UK. Most of these diseases are life threatening and all mean a lifetime of care. CLDF is the only organisation in the UK dedicated to stamping out childhood liver disease.
The support team at CLDF provides practical and emotional support to families affected by childhood liver disease according to individual needs. We have someone at the end of a phone or email whenever a family needs us and have support officers who can attend hospital clinics to meet with families.
Since 1980, and thanks largely to work funded by CLDF, there have been enormous advancements in knowledge and treatment. CLDF's support of research is vital. However to make a real difference we need to provide a minimum of £1 million every year.
