TREAT
The Trust for Research and Education on the Arms Trade (TREAT) was established in 1990 to promote research into and awareness of the international arms trade and its effects - and to disseminate the results of such research.
We make grants to support research and education in this area. One of our beneficiaries is the Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT). CAAT works for the reduction and ultimate abolition of the international arms trade, together with progressive demilitarisation within arms-producing countries.
CAAT's priorities are to:
CAAT supports the promotion of peace, justice and democratic values, and the prevention and resolution of conflicts by peaceful means. CAAT considers that high military spending is unacceptable and only reinforces a militaristic approach to problems. CAAT is committed to nonviolence in all its work.
We are really grateful to you for deciding to hold a Dinner4Good in support of TREAT.We will donate all money you raise to CAAT to support its education and research work.
