Using Dinner4Good.com makes it really easy for you to have friends over for dinner, just as you might usually, and to do it in aid of your favourite charity.

It's simple to invite your guests and easy for them to accept and donate on-line. We take care of claiming the Gift Aid and sending the money to the charity. You don't have to run a marathon, jump out of a plane or shave your head!

Here's how it works:

• Set up a Dinner invitation on this site. It takes about 5 minutes and the site automatically sends email-invites to your friends.
• Your Guests then visit your Dinner Page to reply and donate online using their credit / debit cards - avoiding the need to ask for the money and the hassle of handling cash
• We arrange the collection of the donation and Gift using Charities Trust - this is the name that'll appear on the credit card statement, and they're regulated by the Charity Commission

You can support any UK registered charity and all the donations and your personal details are strictly secure.

If you want to call friends to check they're free, but are unsure of how to explain the idea, you can say something like this: "Come over for dinner on [the date], I'm cooking dinner in aid of [your charity]. I'll send you an invite from Dinner4Good.com, so keep an eye out for it. You can "accept" on-line and also make a donation if you can.We'll have a great evening... and it'll all be for a good cause!"

Once you've sent the invites we'll let you know, by email, who's accepted and how much has been donated. If you or your guests would prefer, just click the box and it'll only show the total amount raised and not the individual donations. Having a dinner with friends and doing some good at the same time couldn't be easier.
