Earthwatch
Earthwatch is an international environmental charity which engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.
Our long-term research and the sheer dedication and hard work of our teams in the field leads to impressive results and groundbreaking findings. By directly supporting field research and educating and engaging thousands of people, Earthwatch has made a significant contribution to achieving a sustainable environment over the past 35 years.
Since 1971, more 85,000 volunteers from the general public have been directly involved in conservation work in the field and Earthwatch's Capacity Building Programme has trained over 1000 scientists from over 40 different countries from Kenya to Kyrgyzstan and from Sri Lanka to Sudan.
