Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal is the only charity fundraising exclusively for the Bristol Children's Hospital and St Michael's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Baby Unit) to provide comforts and facilities for patients and their families.

Bristol Children's Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provide world-class care to babies and children from Bristol, the South West of England and in some cases the whole of the UK and overseas.

The Grand Appeal raised £12 million towards the new building for the child-friendly Bristol Children's Hospital, which opened in April 2001. Since then, we funded a wide variety of programmes for patients valued at nearly £5 million including arts, entertainment, education, play and music programmes; state-of-the-art equipment; family accommodation facilities; comforts for patients; ward enhancement and new medical facilities in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
